UK Foreign Office refuses Saeed Amireh a Young Palestinian Entry to UK

Is the British government frightened by Palestine ’s peaceful campaigners?

West Midlands Palestine Solidarity Campaign had invited Saeed Amireh a young Palestinian from the West Bank for a get together with some of the inner city youth groups in Birmingham for Saturday the 16th February 2013. Alas, Saeed would be unable to come to Birmingham because the UK Consulate has refused him Visa. Despite UK refusing Saeed entry to UK the youth groups will still be meeting on Saturday the 16th February 2013. The meeting will hear Kamel Hawash, a Palestinian living in Birmingham. We will also have a Skype link with individuals living in the West Bank. They will share with young people in Birmingham the experiences of Palestinians living as refugees or under occupation.  Details at http://westmidspsc.org/boycott/?p=553
